They had a really good core in my opinion. The overall performance and especially the prototype preview was really nice. Every change was instant and not even heavy animations were a problem. Much nicer than the Sketch slideshow style proto

Last time I checked, Penpot was creating/destroying actual SVG elements in the dom. I get the sentiment of wanting to use open technology, but for the average user Figma's "copy as svg" is probably open enough. And switc
