Yikes, that’s some bad code. What’s the point of using tailwind if half the elements have their own custom CSS classes attached?

I think you’ll be able to soon, even without sideloading. As per a recent Macrumours article: > Notably, Apple confirmed to us that emulators on the App Store are permitted to load ROMs downloaded from the web, so long as the app is emu

I also noticed that. I almost laughed at the absurdity. “How do you feel that softcore porn of you was created and hosted on this website?” “The part that annoys me is that the the government had the audacity to do this with MY money”

Maybe not exactly what you’re asking, but I started doing talk therapy last year. It’s done virtually and I record the session with OBS. As soon as the recording finishes, the following happens: - The audio is preprocessed (chunked) and sen

Of that list, the only ones I’ve ever seen in practice are i18n, a11y, l10n, and k8s. Three of those are (ironically) related to making content legible to everyone.

You can usually circumvent that by right clicking (or control clicking) and pressing open. There will now be a button that says “open anyway”.

I take the descriptivist approach to email validation, rather than the prescriptivist. I know an email has to have a domain name after the @ so I know where to send it. I also know it has to have something before the @ so the domain’s email

Heh, as soon as I saw Instagram failing to load, I immediately assumed it was Roger’s fault. They just suck when it comes to reliability and Instagram has a much better track record.

Probably. NeoVim started off as a peaceful project: “Hey Bram, mind if we refactor the code a little bit to make it more maintainable, and add async to the slow things?” And Bram fervently rejected that, so Vim was forked. At this point, wh

There’s an implied consent. I know that creating a Gmail account means that Google has access to all my emails. By using Gmail, I’m relatively aware that they’re building an ad profile on me, and I implicitly consent to that. But if I fou

I was under the impression this entire thing is tongue-in-cheek. Why would anyone write 800 lines of CSS to avoid a couple lines of JS?

I genuinely think Apple wanted this to be relatively unpalatable to the typical consumer. They want to build something to prove their tech is the future, but don’t actually want anyone to buy this iteration. Why? Because they need developer

Appeal to emotion. Taxes go towards all publicly funded projects, but it’s easier to convince people that a new tax is a good thing when it goes towards these things that benefit everyone.
