I read the post and appreciate the perspective but disagree so strongly with this that cannot pass without leaving a comment. Claiming da Vinci is overrated to Jobs because Jobs shipped more is on the same bar as saying Beethoven is overrat

This whole post is weird. Based on the tone they seem to think they are combating racism. But really the CEO of a company just announced that they are looking for a new candidate. Requirements? - No particular requirements, except having

As they should. Those protests are ripe for foreign influence escalating the situation. USA knows this best of all with its history of amplifying civil unrest abroad in order to advance its geopolitical goals. For USA the most recent were t

With free speech it gets interesting how you interpret it. One interpretation, which I think Trump is using, is that "laws come last". There is a principle that says free speech should be protected and laws only come to cover the

You mentioned vim issues a few times now but never listed any of them. Out of curiosity - maybe you can share, say, top 3 issues you have with vim?

I don't know about everyone but for me there is this weird effect style has on how serious I think the text is. When I read something written in the style of a medium post I sub-consciously think of the material as being shallow. While

The way to deal with tabs for me is to be a "tab ascetic". Majority of the time I have only a single tab open. Sometimes 2. With 3 it gets uncomfortable.

All I am saying is that there are perfectly good reasons for not using tibbles if you do any kind of work outside of tidyverse. And you seem to agree? As for whether or not tibbles should be data.frames - I posted a link to this exact discu

I am not ignoring it, I am _highlighting_ it. The question of the comment above was "why would one prefer data.frame over tibble". I merely answered that question.

I think everything you wrote here is false, so I am not sure how to reply. Will try to keep it respectful and short: First, about the as_tibble - it returns the same thing as tibble: tb_iris <- as_tibble(iris) length(unique(tb_

This might sound good as a sound bite but offers no thought behind it. One thing that is clear is that we cannot go to extremes on either end. On one side - we cannot stop the economy to contain the virus, because that would turn into every
