How is this at all an answer to @jayd16's question? The number of phones Google has sold is completely irrelevant to the fact that they too do local ai and have hardware on device for processing it.

It's not smartphones. It's Facebook, twitter, reddit, HN, etc. Yes, even HN. Smartphones simply mean that kids have near constant access to it all. And it's just as bad for adults.

For a while now we have had formulaic writing where people write under a successful dead (or almost dead) author's name. This is just using computers to do the same. Now anyone can write the next Borne novel.

I would agree. At least for some people. The act of trying to code something and failing and then failing again before I finally get it right is what I enjoy about coding. Sitting down to write code and it just works each and every time

I spend all my time writing services and HALs and even when I do need a UI, it's in the browser, that I forget there are people who still code actual GUIs for Windows.

Sort of off topic - But I think consumer UPS have fallen short. A) They stick with SLA and not something like LiFePO4 and B) They haven't fully embraced USB-PD. A UPS with LiFePO4 and USB-PD should give you hours of backup power.

At the very least, make it work in the car! I have an iPhone and a Pixel and my car supports AA and CarPlay. When I travel, I much prefer AA because the Google's voice assistant nails AA interaction.
