I agree. They could be making $100 million in revenue a month but if it costs them $95 million to make that then a $21 billion valuation seems crazy on a company that profits $5 million a month. Complete vanity.

Not sure about the cold calling, but you may want to do some SEO on some keywords you think the web dev firms would look up regularly. That way the clients find your business on their own instead of you "forcing" it to them.

I think just because it is an "extremely tough thing to do" doesn't mean that people shouldn't do it. Sure, people who aren't capable of coming up with a brilliant idea shouldn't do it, but those that are exceptional are better off thinking

Hire an outsourced coding team to make the product. Now, its going to be really crappy , but then you will have the prototype built and can hire on a co-founder or take it in a different direction. If you think the idea is really that great
