Not everything about Material Design is bad, but many of the implementations are bad, including many of Google's. Problems with Material Design include: - overly bright/saturated colors - too much animation - obnoxio

I don't know. I didn't look at the design closely. I stay away from Facebook as much as possible. The more I stay away, the more things I get done in life. They have a strong incentive to keep people on their site for as long as p

Bad idea. Consider how much time people/employees waste on Facebook every day. What company would encourage their users to login to Facebook during work hours? The notifications will send them to the news feed, which becomes a black

It looks like it checks for a referrer from Google.com. If I visit the page from Google without a referrer, it blocks me from reading it.

Chrome is designed to send you to Google search results where you can click on ads on the way to your intended destinations. This is why Chrome is much slower than Firefox from a usability standpoint. Firefox sends you right where you want

AMP is terrible for publishers though. It would be better if the site would publish simpler HTML/JS than use AMP.

Some people don't want any Facebook software in their phones for legitimate privacy reasons.

Simple solution: don't chat on Facebook. Reply via the web interface and tell the other person to send you an email, SMS, or Google Hangouts message.

Languages evolve, but I don't think that misuses should be formalized as correct. It's already hard enough for speakers of some languages to understand English's capitalization system. I think that adding more exceptions make

Thanks for the mention! We reached our funding goal, and there are just 15 hours left in the campaign. We think that you will be amazed at what your brain is able to do with these techniques. :)

If you're concerned about tracking, don't use a browser that was created by a tracking company. :) Google doesn't believe in privacy and they don't want you to be able to block tracking. Just look at the Android permissi

Thanks for the mention. If you have any questions, let me know and I'll write a follow up. I think one member of the site is up to 70,000-something digits of pi, and another has memorized 50,000.

I love Spacemacs, but the old site looked better. Why all the animation? It's like the Web is devolving back to how it was when it was covered in animated gifs, marquee, and blink elements. Animation doesn't catch my attention --
