Agreed. Would much rather work in finance than at Heinz as a brand manager for ketchup (if you’re lucky) or even in tech there’s some just insanely boring careers: network engineer, database admin, etc.

New GAAP Rules also mean you have to report unrealized capital gains (as of last year I think)

Agreed, it’s so much better. Just being able to reply to two people at once is incredible.

The real lesson learned: rather than actually fixing the problems with your algorithm, just manually block stuff out... People do the same thing too with chatbots. If you have a text file with a list of bad words the bot isn’t allowed to sa

I disagree with the article. The reasoning is much clearer when you specifically spell out how you’re handling special cases than trying to finagle your input and padding with zeros and whatnot. It’s literally hiding your intentions and rea

I didn’t like the host or the questions at all. I feel as if had they just put all the scientists in a room and speak about whatever they felt like talking about, it would have been richer, more human, and more enlightening

I agree. Oftentimes, branching storyline games tend to be weak in execution. It ends up being either (1) the same story with 3 slightly different endings or (2) three completely different stories, supposedly linked together. I think the bes

This is a good recipe. I tried for an hour to beat it but I couldn't. I tried an oven at 100 and then some searing at 175, but I ended up getting too much well-done.

I like his perspective and agree with many of his points, but his writing style needs some work. It’s a blog post about ham radio, not a cringy thesis paper. Short snippet: >Next, as we seek those truths, let’s examine what an axiom is.

Sorry. I just really like VSTS or Azure DevOps or whatever they call it these days. Just the fact that there’s a little button baked right into Visual Studio where I can see all my work items, and the fact that I can literally assign a comm

It’s not just about having a search engine that’s fast and convenient albeit “censored.” It’s very plausible that Dragonfly will be used to feed people in China flat out misinformation and lies, and then monitor them 24/7. News that do

Heaven forbid that the millions of mindless sheeple using “Smart” Compose actually have to read and edit their email before hitting send. If Google really cared about combatting bias, they would just use “she/her.” At least it would be

They're not gonna abandon Dynamics. If anything, they're doubling down on the whole 365 suite. (And they should, SharePoint and OneDrive for Business are really good.)
