A few typos (maybe you should run the text through a spell checker): Vocotional -> Vocational didn’t knew -> didn't know univerity -> university

It is, but I can't be bothered to try making Chrome or Firefox match my needs, if they even can.

Neither. I'm currently using Opera 12 as my main browser, Chrome for websites that don't work with it and Firefox in case I need to use a proxy. None of the "new" browsers offer the complete package that Opera 12 does.

12.17 was just a security update (Heartbleed), and Linux/Mac were not affected, so 12.16 is the same for them.

What happens to the project in this kind of case? Can someone else take it over?

They look much better than the older ones. Might be some ways to improve them, though. my opinion is that the cyan/yellow combo doesn't look very good.

Yep, that's as far as you can go. Obviously you can fly around the world and place things from any distance, but it's a bit of work still. Would love to see someone build a program that automates this, though!

I have noticed a similar graph on Twitch viewership - you hover around 1000 viewers for a year or two, and then suddenly start gaining hundreds of viewers, and in just a few months, you may have doubled your numbers. Congrats on your succes

Thank you very much! I'm mainly interested in Game AI, though I would not be surprised to find "modern" AI used in games at some point, either. If it's not too much trouble, the slides sound extremely interesting.

A few days ago I read an article about Overmind (Starcraft: BW AI), and it got me interested in how AI is built, but I can't learn from books. Are there any blogs or such that teach this kind of stuff? http://arstechnica.com

True, and I would love to see a solution to it, but downloading an archive makes it at least a little bit less centralized.

I believe around the founding of the Swedish Pirate Party, they got a lot of attention (and votes) because of TPB being featured heavily in the news. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirate_Party_of_Sweden#2009

I think just using a nickname (instead of your own name) and not sharing addresses etc is the best way to go. Lirik (a big Twitch streamer) chooses to only use his online alias, and although it's a common question what his real name (o

I have a Jolla, and it is simply amazing. Sailfish is a true touchscreen OS. I definitely recommend you try one if you can (at least in Finland, DNA stores might have them).

I think Steam competitor idea is interesting, but forcing it on your playerbase is generally quite a bad idea (see Origin or Uplay). I'd love to see more competition though.

Holy crap, 2.5 BILLION? And on top of that Notch and Jakob (and Carl) are leaving? I understand Notch's decision (as he has been doing his own thing), but I did not imagine Jakob or Carl leaving.
