The joy of creation doesn't pay the bills or put food on the table. Most people working a full time job barely have free time.

Regional pricing is a thing. In fact many deal sites go into how to pay less for streaming services via VPN.

So what funding model do you agree with? Since you getting for free means somebody is paying otherwise more of what you consume won't be made. So if everyone decided to torrent, there won't be a market.

How much of a difference would this really make?

Do you have a HDR display? Have you enabled Wide Colour Gamut?

Ubiquiti Networks have their Unifi product line that sells to business but since they don't charge licence fees have become quite popular with keen home users. There's regular firmware updates and the feature set is quite standard

CG NAT is a solution for ISPs that don't have enough IPv4 addresses to give to their customers. It's not security nor a service. And also breaks a lot of use cases like P2P VoIP/gaming etc. I assume if the ISP gives you an IP

What devices can be used with these drivers? The message says there's two drivers: "Lima covers the older t4xx and panfrost the newer 6xx/7xx series" My perception is that Mali GPUs were just in Android phones where runn

What's the current status of WireGuard? Is it usable? I remember reading that Cloudfare is implementing it on their VPN product.

Browser plugins really need to go away. If it's not implementable normally then it shouldn't be on the web. In my opinion at least. GPU models also should not be given, browsers need to abstract features and performance into somet

Yes it really should. Chrome on Android reports your phone model and build number. If you're using a lessor known phone with a carrier specific ROM, then you're in a really tiny population.

Their scheme to generate some extra revenue resulted in hundreds of deaths. Why was a safety feature optional to begin with?

It's a dumb comment. There was a ton of malware being distributed as add-ons that came packaged with other installers. This solved that issue.

It was a significant issue for years. Mostly adware and things that replaced your default search engine.

Yes. A significant percentage of people are any combination of racist, sexist or homophobic. Their views are well represented in other newspapers, media and in politics. In fact in the UK it can be argued to be the majority view. Why is it

The question I have is: Would the plane have crashed if the plane was a non MAX 737? I don't think so, but I'm open to being proved wrong. In that case the root cause of the two crashes is Boeing trying to save money.

All that left wing propaganda seems to be really effective what with years of conservative governance and New Labour....? The most read newspapers in the UK are right wing.

I get that going to a well regarded school is good for your career prospects. But if you're that rich, what's the benefit? It's not like your child will have trouble finding a job, you could even pay someone to employ them. A

Intel also has a similar tool that you install to check for updates and you visit a web page to get your updates. Does it work in a similar way?

The difference is that I know that I'm not buying a general purpose computer when I buy a console. And I'm perfectly fine with that. It's an entertainment device. I have plenty of things that I can run my code on.

It's really weird. Firefox has such a tiny marketshare now where WebKit based browsers dictate what happens. Also whenever there's any positive news about the browser people always like to bring up pocket, that ARG misstep or how

I remember reading that phone manufacturers sometimes update the patch version but don't pull all the patches presumably because it's too much effort to integrate into their forked codebases.

The man you seem to be talking about was a proud white supremacist that got punched in the face. It's interesting how on the internet those in positions of power get described as the real victims.

Will it fly? I think we live in a different world now. The 737 MAX via social media has a perception of being a "Boeing death plane" Public opinion could ground it.

5G isn't just the radio network. It's a rearchitecture of the core network as well. For example you can have a 5G core over LTE.

One thing is that 4G is generally centrally broken out to the internet. So let's say you're in Scotland, the packet would enter the mobile operator's network, then go to London, where they've bridged the network to the i
