I have no idea why Apple insist on the default RSS client under Mac OS being Safari. Mail has support built in, and is a far more appropriate place to keep it since people already think of it as the place to go for asynchronous updates.

You can in fact mix and match - you can use Google Apps on top of a corporate system such as Exchange for only specific users. It's unlikely to save you any money since you'll then need someone to run it, but it's possible. As things stand

I'm curious what sort of situation you have where you trust a user enough to have a copy of a particular directory tree, with the ability to copy it elsewhere and edit it, but you're concerned about them being able to make changes to it.

$50/acct/year comes to $4.16/acct/month. If your staff's use of email isn't in someway contributing to making more then $4.16/month you should probably just fire them, or not give them an email address in the first place.

I think is largely aimed at the people who are using Google Apps for their own domain. I certainly wouldn't want a corporate account tied to my Google+ identity, but my own domain and email address which I've been using for over a decade de

I don't think anyone has suggested that you can't be as terse as you like with it. Somehow I doubt Siri is going to get offended and respond with "Whats the magic word?"

The apps are attached to your Google account, not the phone, so no you don't have to buy them again.

I would love it if that were true, but on the whole people in the UK hate to complain, at least to anyone who can do something about their complaint. And our politicians should all be shot. I'd like them to do something more then slag each

When it comes to the web app pricing I'm not sure about this: "For example, the mere fact of supporting user accounts will mean having to design sign up, sign in, and “I forgot my password” screens as well as all the different error states

I renew my subscription every now and again. It's a really interesting concept, but whenever I play it I find that I like the idea of the game far more then I like the game itself. Getting to the point of being able to play at this sort of

I don't know about independent researchers but CCP, who run Eve, employ a full time economist who publishes quarterly reports on the state of the in-game economy.

Fire them for lying when they provided an address in their employment contract. Do you really want to employ someone who does that at all?

Where abouts in London are you? You might like to take a look at Hubbub (www.hubbub.co.uk). Depending on where you are the most you're going to pay for delivery at the moment is £3.50, which includes same day deliveries, and we deliver from

Where do you live? If you're in East London you might want to give hubbub.co.uk a try (disclaimer: I'm there lead developer). We do really good food, 1-hour delivery windows, and same day deliveries for no extra if you order before noon.

What this really seems to highlight for me is quite how useless bug trackers on large projects used by the general public can be. 249 comments, with so much noise it would be impossible to find any actual discussion amongst them if you trie

In that sense, the wall scanning is a bit of a gimmick; the critical thing is to remember you want/need to buy something. This is the big thing. I work for an online grocery shopping startup, and when speaking to lapsed customers the bigg

I appreciate why people build things like this, but I think that with mobile applications you either need to go truly native (using UIKit), or do something that is distinctly different from the rest of the OS. Tools like this which kind of,

I think it depends how you go about complaining. There are two ways in which you can do so. The first is to go to somebody who is able to start solving the problem, and bring it up with them. The alternative is to sit around with your colle
