I was watching that video and expecting an explanation along the lines of "If I tap the c-pad, then b really fast at just the right time" and being met with an explanation that shows an intricate working knowledge of the game....i

I'm not sure that mandatory required charity is anything more than asking for trouble. People should give, people should help, but they should do it willingly. If you force them to do it, they will resent both the charity and you. T

This was a good perspective on Google Glass. It is the first blog I've read about Glass that doesn't come off as pretentious. It actually sounded rather down to earth and was, consequently, a very useful review of the technology

If I get in a self driving car, I am still trusting my life to each driver on the road, but now I am also trusting the software of the car. In an ideal world I would not mind self driving vehicles nearly so much if everyone had one. Advoca

I agree. The first large accident involving a self driving car will pose a real challenge to its adoption. I also agree with you about trusting my life to a disgruntled software/firmware engineer: I'd rather not. I know people l

From what I can gather, it seems FlexyCore generates more efficient, architecture specific assembly code at build time. This is where the performance gains come from. A little deeper reading shows that it does this through the Dalvik VM, t

The respect scale portion is interesting. It mentions class, race, and religion as reasons why people may not show respect to others. I think if we add political views to that, our country has bottomed out on the 'respect scale'
