Isn't XMPP the base of all major chat services? I used my own client (Psi+) for a while with Facebook chat but since I no longer use Facebook I don't know if that still works. Too bad none of them support federation any longer.

Funny thing: it was the other way around for many C64 games. Many NTSC ports of the time played too fast and had aspect ratio issues. Music from many EU Scene Demos was 20% faster on a US C64. Good thing that's over.

That does not sound different from what Windows does. By default all programs running under the same user can access all windows of other applications (except UAC elevated ones). It's a relic from when OLE and Clipboard in Windows 3 ju

That would actually work fine on Windows 10 32bit. It still has NTVDM and can run 16bit and DOS programs.

Using a compiler with proper switches is hard it seems. Some also blame 3rd party libraries or DRM.
