$50 billion can be afforded by WAY WAY more sites and companies so Nvidia will simply delivered to >10x more data centers. Or instead of shipping 100k GPUs to Meta, they will ship 100k GPUs to 10 different customers. For Nvidia, it is gr

If we expect that the demand for GPT-5 in AI compute is 100x of that of GPT-4 then if GPT-4 was trained in months on 10k of H100 then you would need years with 100k of H100 or maybe again months with 100k of GB200. See, there is your answer

And because the world buys all the shelf stuff from Nvidia and uses CUDA, Nvidia get the largest debugging user base there is. This way Nvidia can continue to make CUDA even better and cycle repeats.

Nvidia once rested on their laurels and that was the Geforce FX over 20 years ago. Jensen was so pissed, he literally screamed at every person in the company. But he also made sure that resting won't ever happen again. Andy Grove from

No, they wouldn't. Nvidia focuses more on premium and margin than on unit share. Nvidia looks at Apple. Apple has 75% of profit share with 25% of unit share of the whole smartphone market. Apple makes 3x more profit than all other smar

On what are fast and new LLMs created if not on a GPU? The reason Nvidia dominates is that all the AI research is done on their GPUs for the past decade. That's why any new approach in AI will be on Nvidia's GPU and Nvidia will al

Nvidia's gross margins have been 50% with gaming cards only a decade ago. They have been above Apple's since back then. And Nvidia had grown them to 65% even before the AI craze. They main reason why it becomes so crazy is that de

Totally wrong! Jensen decided to focus on CUDA almost 2 decades ago while Wallstreet called him an idiot back then. 12 years ago, Nvidia started to deliver GPUs for HPC and super computers in research. AlexNet was the special event to trans

Listen to earanings call, SW runtime is $2b for 2024 double of the $1b of last year. Nvidia Enterprise AI is spreading. People totally underestimate that and still think of Nvidia as a Semi company which only makes chips lol.

To be fair, 128 are maybe $2.5 million revenue for AMD. If they predict $4b then we talk about 200-400k MI300X. For every $1b more revenue, AMD needs capacity from TSMC in the area of 50-100k. To be frank, your 128 are a rounding error in t
