I doubt this would be workable. They could, sadly, however, make it a crime to bypass things like The Online Safety Bill. Downloading or using Tor, for example. At that point, the only sane option is to become a criminal.

The only thing I miss about Windows 8.1 is when I hovered my mouse over an application in my taskbar, it showed a little tab preview of what it's doing. I certainly don't miss that desktop environment, though.

Originally started with Xubuntu 22.04, but switched to Mint at the start of March last year since it (Xubuntu) was going to EoL. Mint does everything I need it to, so there's no need for me to hop.
