But if you want a multipurpose robot that works alongside us in the human world performing many diverse tasks that a human would perform, being a humanoid might be quite useful. Jobs are designed for humans in many cases, so looking and mov

I'm a self taught designer. I learned color through imitation. Copy someone who is good, do that enough, and you'll start to get a feel for what works. Theory only goes so far with something as subjective as "what looks good

The last "startup" that I saw an ad for in the Super Bowl was salesforce with an ad for Chatter. How did that work out for them?

I've been doing this for almost 15 years now. I definitely create new things, but I didn't start that way. And really, you should use conventional things for most problems that you come across. It takes a pretty unconventional pro

This is going to seem overly simplistic, but... Practice! 1) Find designs that you love, copy them pixel for pixel 2) Start mixing and matching elements from different interfaces that you find. 3) You'll start to see repeated patterns,

This is exactly what I was thinking about. Some way to tell a goal and the constraints to the computer and then have the computer run multivariate tests on generated UI's to optimize for the goal.

I "just" define it in sketch. To be clear, I'm sure you didn't mean to put down the role of design in building a successful software product, but I do like to point out unintended microaggressions when I see them.

How you instruct, Why you instruct, Where you instruct, and When you instruct are all equally as important as What you instruct the user to do.

Someone should build an insurance company for Teslas. Build it as a Tesla app connected to the log data. No need for creepy trackers, they're already built in ;)

Zenefits definitely supports Contractor Payments, if you sign up, look for the "contractors" card to get started. edit: to be clear, this is a separate product from payroll.

Self Driving Payroll will work perfectly in this case. If you don't offer Benefits, use Zenefits for onboarding and keeping track of your employee info (also free), and have self driving payroll take care of your payroll for free.

Yeah, I think it's a little confusing as well. But, basically if Zenefits manages all of your benefits, Self Driving Payroll will be your best bet. If you offer a benefit that Zenefits doesn't manage, you'll need to go Pro.
