That's interesting, maybe it's hardware-dependent? I'm doing nixos + KDE + Wayland and I've had almost no issues in day-to-day usage and productivity. I agree with you that there's a lot of bleeding. Linux is nicer

`nvidia-smi` shows that my driver version is 550.78. I ran `nixos-rebuild switch --upgrade` yesterday. My nixos channel is `nixos-unstable`. Do you know something I don't? I'd love to be on the latest version. I should have writte

In defense of the parent, upcoming can still be a relative term, albeit a bit misleading. For example: I'm running the 550 drivers still because my upstream nixos-unstable doesn't have 555 for me yet.

Nit: parent didn't call it an internal style guide, but a style guide for their internal C++. (I'm sure it is.)

In my experience you can quickly tell if the quality of somebody’s resume material lines up with the person across the table. I suppose at more attractive workplaces there are folks spending serious effort to game the system, but I haven’t

Eclipse Theia IDE is to Eclipse as Visual Studio Code is to Visual Studio? I think the naming is much less interesting/important than the idea, but lots of folks seem only interested in whether the name is good or bad. In my experience

I’ve agreed with a lot of comments I’ve read, but something small I’d like to add: Consider that any change is an opportunity for all parties involved to be better off. This isn’t to say that your cofounder or employees need somebody else,

What you’re saying is tautological: your assumption is that tests were running in production, and your evidence is that somebody accidentally ran tests in production. It reads a bit like “Oh my, an accident? Why’ve you done that.” Anyway, t

What's missing (maybe for brevity) is why it's important to have a co-founder. I find it hard to believe that they just wanted that box ticked and more that there's something else a co-founder brings to the table... so what i
