The AV Club has already had a few rounds of Univision driven cuts and overhauls that've impacted it pretty hugely in a bad way. However, I believe the AV Club are about as independent of each other as Kotaku, Deadspin, etc at the momen

Stephen Lavelle/Increpare is the most impressive indie game developer out there by an absolutely landslide imo. Beyond things like Puzzlescript he's just madly inventive when it comes to making games and interactive experiences of

Well it's needless to speculate, the variation is because London has the public transportation infrastructure to keep demand in prime areas under control. Wanting a large high quality apartment in zone 1 of London is a trio of luxuries

I've lived in both SF (and Berkeley) and London. Accommodation in London zone 1 is a good bit lower than SF without the same level of competition. Accommodation further out is (overall) significantly cheaper than the BART accessible pa

eBay really should allow you to filter out items with multiple price points. So many sellers abuse that system so heavily (e.g. the standard 99c memory card listings that have some crappy little microsd adapter included in the listings to d

It's the allure for sure but I imagine quite quickly gets proven wrong as you find yourself working certain hours due to higher rates and/or increased demand. With wages that low (these are Uber's own figures too) and close t

What exactly happens the entertainment industry when MoviePass fails? When Netflix stop deciding to lose colossal sums of money each year and their competitors get to scale back as a result? When a large number of people don't have eno

Had the same experience when I lived over there too. Was pretty surprised West Oakland was as cheap as it was relative to anywhere North Oakland/Berkeley considering how much more access it had to everything. The price of places under

Bought an S7 on the cheap recently to see if its 2K screen (2560x1440, so possibly the same as this?) would be good enough to watch films on, was okay but nowhere near what I'd like. Unless that's severely misrepresentative, I

A small factor but a big one imo is that vue-cli is an infinitely tidier affair than create-react-app. It's very easy to get through your first few apps and tutorials with Vue because they're usually following the exact same base.
