Right there with you. Their focus is on smoke and mirrors, not putting content first. If the first thing I have to do to get to the content is move your interface or big pictures out of the way, you're doing it wrong.

I don't own an Xbox, but do they not have a mute button on the player level? On PlayStation if someone has no inner monologue, annoys me, or whatever, I just mute them or don't friend them so they can't hear me. Problem solve

I have the same issue and often just reconnecting using a different node/city resolves it Annoying as hell, but sometimes the problem is the nodes in the US show as being in EU for some reason.

I still prefer good old fashioned plain HTML. If you want an app, write an app. Keep the web HTML and accessible to author by anyone rather than require one become a programmer of someone's proprietary scripting language.
