This (and other terrible interviewing processes) seem like the epitome of a problem being tackled from the wrong end: Trying to filter things coming OUT of the hiring funnel instead of filtering the things going IN to the hiring funnel. Cas

Very cool! Note: This doesn't work with Vimium installed, since only certain keystrokes make it through to the page. I think the input would need to be an input field in order for that to work.

That wasn't my intention at all, but I appreciate that it came across that way to you. Please know that I was/am sincere in my desire to hear the thoughts of others while this is a current topic.

I'd like to invite any Python devs to go on a tangent with me: Can you give me the scoop on Python, the language? I see things like this project, and it seems very impressive, but being an outsider to the language, I don't "g

Now we just need some free, open-licensed commercials for non-existent products and services to inject at random intervals throughout the program. (Only mildly joking)

I don’t mind partial news. What I _do_ mind is partial news that _masquerades_ as impartial news. I will happily read a well written piece authored by someone with whom I may or may not disagree who is up front about their bend. But when yo

I have a pretty good grasp on Siri commands and it's still _terrible_. Here are a few from the past few weeks: “Siri, drive to <regional grocery chain 20 minutes away>” → “Now driving to <regional grocery chain 2 hours away>

I don't think there's anything illegal about being terrible at your job (information security), but I do think it's a tragedy that LastPass has somehow avoided the public shaming they so desperately deserve for their repeated

I love Go and I love Laravel, but I do find the naming an odd choice; it seems like borrowed clout. Especially so when Laravel's own name is a soft reference to the work of C.S. Lewis. Why not pick a unique, "Go-esque" name a

Having lived in the Boise (Idaho) area, I saw this happen over and over with Micron and HP. I knew dozens of people who had worked for one or the other (and sometimes both) and were then let go in those companies frequent mass layoffs. One

I switched away from LastPass after the 2nd major security breach sometime around 2013. Wikipedia only shows 3 total incidents, but I know I've seen reporting on _at least_ 5 between 2010 and today. In that time, I've continued to

I have to say (as somewhat of an Amazon critic): I'm not sure that the smile below “Alexa+” works in this case; it comes across as a tad creepy for me with the AI context.
