All of my friends who are on AMD have had issues over the past three years. My belief is that it is in the memory controllers and the XMP profiles provided with RAM. It’s very easy for the XMP profiles to be overly optimistic or for the RAM

It would be if it was only pollution but my understanding it’s pm2.5 in general. Rural areas can and do have high pm2.5. Look at the map. It could be agriculture or dust or flora.

Just buy three for the same price as one expensive model :D I have mine hooked up to smart outlets and particulate meter to automate them. I just wish I could control the speed.

Most of the VC money invested into the crypto space is into evm projects. By volume of real world usage, the standard is the Solana virtual machine though.

My friend just had an ASRock board cook his AMD CPU. Apparently a very common problem.

Can LLMs understand ascii drawings? Or produce them? I’m trying to figure out a way to organize thoughts with charts in a way that provides useful context to an LLM and also that an LLM could theoretically generate.

It’s because steam is 100% an aberration in our modern world. The closest comparison is, maybe, Costco? And we who are dependent on steam know how bad things would be if steam wasn’t this unicorn. Gaben is the rare feudal lord whose people

Writing rust and the LLM almost never gets function signatures and returns types wrong. That just leaves the business logic to sort out. I can only imagine that IDEs will eventually pair directly with the compiler for instant feedback to fi

Many would argue that you should give them a billion dollars funding, and that’s what they’re doing when they say AGI is close. There is a decade + worth of implementation details and new techniques to invent before we have something functi

In a world where engineering matters less, the people with writing and literature degrees are able to be more productive. But I agree it’s not engineering. I love engineering, but if could go back to school it’d be for an English degree.
