I just read up on interval arithmetic. I understand its desirable properties. Where in practice have you applied it? What’s a real world application for interval arithmetic?

Spoofing the source of a string that controls colors and animations isn’t really a problem. Spoofing the source of a string that get executed is in an entirely different league.

It’s very cool but I am a little bit worried about depriving creators of a revenue stream. I hate ads as much as the next person, but unlike the web which is unusable without an ad blocker, podcasts (to me at least) are still on the right s

Such a cool insight that behind this at-first-glance annoying behavior lie some very positive motivations.

It’s clever, it makes the burger more “accessible” - you’re not thinking “how am I going to eat this tower of food”.

Great article, best insight into autistic<->neurotypical communication styles. Couldn’t you have a “communications” LLM massage your prompts to the “main” LLM so that it removes the queues that cause the main LLM to mistakenly infer y

We have changed our entire business model so that what we actually produce is very strongly aligned with pelicans on bicycles. This way we’ll always know which model is best for us. Highly recommend this approach, saves us tons of eval time

One very clever consequence of Anthropic's guarded release of the Mythos model is that they've kind of claimed the position of best in class here, and also positioned themselves as the responsible vendor in this space in one fell

Should be compulsory reading. Actually, now that I think about it, this would make a great interview question in the AI era: “what did you think of Soul of a new machine?”

Long term this could make Anthropic stronger. Not sucking at the government teat, but actually building and iterating to solve real problems that a broad swath of industry needs.

There is one scenario it would be good for. People running stock trading programs often need a better network and always on environment than they can get at home

One superpower I wish I had is the incredible summarizing into single sentences that you can see in the LLM web UIs when they automatically make a title for a discussion. I wonder if there’s a way to train that ability.

This is a fine start for filesystem and network policies. But before I’m ever going to be comfortable with an OpenClaw-like thing running on my system on my behalf, I’m going to want policies at an application level as well - which emails c

What is the exact threat being addressed here? If the proxy detects a sensitive key and then places it in a .env file, Claude code would pull the value from the env file and then still send it to Anthropic servers wouldn’t it?
