Old school mentality of work 70 hours a week 9 - 5 and unpaid overtime chained to a desk and you’ll get promoted. Except when you don’t when we need to save cash because of you know dividends.

Except it hasn’t though has it. Reuters calculations show Russia's projected April oil and gas revenue at 1.292 trillion roubles ($14 billion), up from 648 billion roubles in April 2023 and slightly down from the 1.308 trillion roubles

Working from the office solves this /sarc. Utterly gone off sell lately which is a shame because I like their hardware but knowing how management treat staff now. I’ll look elsewhere.

Good luck with that. Seemed to work fine during the pandemic. What’s changed. Oh that’s right yeah. Nothing. What’s the issue here? Control. That’s all it is.

Why does this feel like it was hastily added at the last minute? Developing a chip like the M4 presumably takes years, so hastily incorporating 'AI' to meet the hype and demand could inevitably lead to problems.

Absolutely fucking bollocks. Go do a stint in some organisations and you’ll find no one does know what they are doing and just coasting on the effort of others and have absolutely zero domain knowledge and in charge of major projects and it

Unions have no power anyway. Their stock line is “Well when management band together there’s nothing we can do” thanks for paying your fees though. Remember your fees are due at the end of the month. Carry on.
