Running tons and tons of VS instances while debugging broken, memory hogging programs, modifying the XML for weird project types for third party plugins poorly, etc. Things that MS really can't do anything about.

I know there's a strong VS counterjerk, but nothing else comes close. I've been using it for years and all of its crashes have been 100% my fault. I know IntelliJ is great, and JetBrains in general rocks, but it's no contest.

For those looking for more information, the practice is in particular making one very strong bag with a lot of fentanyl, so that a single user overdoses or dies. The idea is other users will then buy your product, thinking it's better

That makes a great deal of sense, as there's no obvious benefit to the data you would get from a compromised Spotify. Older people also use the word "hacked" to mean a too-wide set of things, from "broken" to "

This seems like a very big deal for a lot of very poor people - a Bolivian friend keeps in touch with his family there entirely by WhatsApp. I wonder how much this will actually increase the userbase, especially in the Third World.

Yeah, I would never work there after reading this. This makes it look like a place where passive-aggressively policing behavior is common. I'm not even one to say racist or do sexist things! This just smells ... bitchy I guess?

Does no one remember how negative everyone was at the height of the boom in 2007? We look back on that period as a time of incredible prosperity, but I remember it was basically the same as today: everyone complaining about everything.

Noam Chomsky doesn't have the answer. You'd need a PhD on the subject of a single conflict in order to talk about it with authority. He does not have that, though he is a gifted linguist. You're talking about conflicts that l

Why does any discussion around the Middle East produce incredibly shallow, edgy comments? It's incredibly, incredibly, incredibly complicated stuff, and the discourse is all soundbites.

I deeply get your point, but to step away from the metaphor, usually the problem of shitty code is a lack of focus on continual refinement instead of adding features, which is a management/process problem. If you have a serious problem
