More research seems like a really good side benefit if it happens. Inhaling burning plant matter is still bad for you. There are alternate means of ingesting the compounds in Marijuana though.

What are the answers? Is there a back of the book? Give up the goods! This (OP) is one of the funniest HN submissions I've ever seen for comments. What does this have to do with HN?

See my comment above. I agree on many points... But also see the possibility that 'total annihilation' in a pre-21st century sense of war may not be in the cards for numerous reasons.

Agreed which is why I mentioned 'total annihilation' of the enemy. But if you want to keep infrastructure or be able to exploit their resources after the war... You can't really do that. Its a decision that has to be made. Mo

So you're going with the "Everything came from the caveman's need for fire" argument it sounds like. Unarguably true if you want to reduce that far. I still don't think you can come up with a logical example of Gene

Good illustration of a time when a logical argument makes no sense but pointing out the ridiculousness shines light on the point!

Sometimes the ridiculousness of the opposition's argument is more compelling to the majority of people than saying "You've committed fallacy A, B, C, D, & F." Especially when the 'argument' in question actu

Outmatching someone militarily doesn't necessarily forecast a short war. This is especially true if you do not have the resources or interest in total annihilation of your opposition. There are many recent examples of this to choose fr

What war was Genetics (Device: Micro Arrays, PCR Machines, etc) built off of and applicable to? Or do you count that as 'medicine'? In that case you can reduce everything all the way down to cave men battling over fire. I don'

Agreed and agreed. The only reason I chimed in is because labeling an opinion piece as 'manipulation' seems pretty suspect. That is tantamount to saying "anyone who has an opinion I disagree with is manipulating me." Art
