Same boat as you - hope it doesn't but I'm pretty sure it will. Apple is doing it, so other companies will jump on the same bandwagon.

Yeah, beet sugar is the “standard” to me. That said I meant to say “high fructose corn syrup” in my original post.

In EU we by and large don’t eat what America produces though. The same products like Doritos etc will have different ingredients in EU compared to US. US typically gets the cheaper and worse option (less safe). Same for American coke w/

This is honestly sad to see. I use Proton and advocate it to others. This does make me rethink my position somewhat - although I’d argue it’s still better than Google / Microsoft-owned email services.

Yeah, my thoughts where along the same line. Seems like they want to be another Ycombinator but more focused on AI. (Although TBF, I guess AI would also get the most traction at Ycombinator these days, given the hype wave).

I've been saying this for years now. LLMs are _not_ the right methodology to get to AGI. My friends who were drinking the kool-aid are only recently coming around to "hey, this might not get us AGI". But sometimes it feels li

EU taking a page out of China's playbook, after years of 'complaining' about what China was doing, is kind of wild. And sad.

Maybe they have vibe-coded their own stack! But less tongue-in-cheek, yeah Anthropic definitely has reliability issues. It might be part of trying to move fast to stay ahead of competitors.

You can just get the pseudo-LLM experience with this easy python package! https://github.com/drathier/stack-overflow-import (nit.. please don't actually do this).
