The two reasons why you would want to use the Objective C iPhone SDK are: access to advanced multi-touch gestures, the ability to store data on the iPhone. If your app is simple, though, a web application running in Safari might be a feasib

This sounds like a hilarious opportunity. Seems like Google has a little bit of work to do before their voice-mail transcription will be ready for practical use.

You have to admit that Michael Jackson was just plain weird. But then many of the greatest innovators were also considered weird in their time. I don't think that anyone would want to emulate every aspect of his strange lifestyle, but he d

Great share! I didn't realize that Michael Jackson had actually patented his shoe design. I guess he really was a hacker.

These are initial observations from the first day of using the iPhone SDK. Basically, I'm just sharing my first thoughts and impressions on the tools involved and how they work and appear. I'll share some insight later, after I explore the

You are correct. Safari does indeed rotate, but other applications such as Photo Album, etc don't. And it doesn't work on other Apple sample code programs either. Safari and Contacts seem to be the only two apps that rotate. Perhaps I jus
