I believe if you search around you might be able to some blockchain that uses that technology with AI to run models. I just did a quick search and found this[1]. Also there's AI Horde[2] that uses the KoboldAI[3] project for distribute

I always had this thought that maybe it would be better to fork entirely but not be bug-for-bug compatible. That way Alma and Rocky can find a base that they both agree on but maybe have different development cycles.
