Those are for a different purpose. Many car aficionados have historically changed their exhaust system to achieve better performance. The fake exhaust pipes are to make the car appear performant and powerful.

Being hoisted by your petard is a well-known phrase from Hamlet by William Shakespeare, indicating an ironic reversal, or poetic justice. [1] Yet, it is somewhat of an ironic reversal [2] for you to write that the saying isn't apt. The

In this case, DevOps shouldn't be rearchitecting, developing, or changing a password management's solution, crypto, architechture, or design in any way. Not in the slightest.

Whether an area is a suburb has nothing to do with whether people live in single family homes with yards. A suburb is an outlying part of a city or town or a smaller community adjacent to or within commuting distance of a city. [1] [1] htt

It's been a while since I've used one of these! It's looking good! The only way to make it better is to change the spelling to App][er. It's an extra l that way, but I think that's forgivable.

Nobody ever said that the description of a thing implies any morality. Are you actually engaging in honest conversation here? The GP clearly wrote how a student's union can affect the members actions, outside of the union's purpos

That comment was specifically to say how a student's union can effect societal changes unrelated to the purpose of the union, by the leaders of the union using their bully pulpit to coerce people to act. That is exactly what they said.

You can also look at the article that appeared on the home page here at HN the very next day after this discussion you and I had. The article talks about Facebook suing one of these registrars for giving out free domain names to criminals,

Currently, a domain can only be a brand and cannot be a true identity. There are methods to get free domain names [1], domain names without identity validation [2], etc. So, a domain is nothing but a method of verifying internet presence. [
