Presumably models are also real people who have an interest in being there (their interest is in being paid). If consenting adults are being treated fairly, I don't see any moral problem here.

To be clear I only meant "testing" to apply to the CIA. I imagine the other groups would be using it as part of some operation. As for why I imagine the CIA is testing this, the CIA has experimented on unwitting American citizens

The problem with this analysis is: what does Russia gain by doing this with a sonic mystery weapon? If Russia wanted to divide the US and Cuba by attacking diplomats, wouldn't a sniper be simpler and less obvious? Or paying some Cuba

The perpetrators are repeatedly performing an activity that hurts specific targets. It's hard not to consider this an attack. I agree that it's probably not Cuba itself doing it though. My own suspects, based on nothing but wild s

I also felt a bit of antipathy for the author. Something about a capitalist traveling to the former USSR, in it's vulnerable time of rebirth, and exploiting poor uneducated people to make a profit rubbed me the wrong way.

Unless I'm mistaken, the relationship between supply and demand is still a well regarded concept in economics - if the supply of labor doubles, the cost of labor will... A) Be unaffected B) Increase C) Decrease I'm not saying ther

Yeah, I agree that's a problem too. The problem seems to come from when women entered the work force, society neglected to take a roughly equal amount of men from the work force. This resulted in a surplus of labor and therefore dimini

It's not a moral fad at all. Women, including highly educated women, typically prefer having more children than they have [1]. 60% of women in the EU say they have less than the ideal number children. Women all over the world want mor

I disagree on two points. First, people shouldn't love you for who you are. That assumption is in popular culture but it's really pernicious if you examine it. I don't love my mother because she's my mother. I love my mo
