Continuous Delivery is for apps (web apps most often), Semver is for software components (libraries, frameworks...). Using CD as a reason to find alternatives to Semver is misguided - they are completely unrelated.

It still boggles my mind that sql injection is a thing in 2016, let alone in a modern codebase from a great software company with amazing engineers. Somehow we (the programming profession) are doing this whole thing wrong, and I'm not

Yes, basically it's much easier to work with and the tools/development experience are much better - which correlates to being able to deliver faster, sometimes much faster. Time to market is often a very important metric for a web

Logic in the Database has the following issues: 1. it doesn't work well with source control 2. deployments, rollback, replication, synchornization - they don't work very well with db procedures 3. unless you connect directly to th

I've had to reject an offer I wanted because the IP terms were draconian (even beyond what I consider standard) and the company wouldn't badge on it. Other companies did agree to make changes to get an otherwise unacceptable contr

I took the test (demo test at least). Only 2 out of 6 questions had anything to do with UI/UX - the rest were either reading comprehension and/or basic math. From the 2 that dealt with UI/UX, both were extremely hard, in one

I fail to see the problem- either don't change the image in a meaningful way or recompile without the name ubuntu and call it something else. Seems ok to me. Also, using the Ubuntu name for a product not made by canonical without permi

The main benefit I derive from immutability in js is identity comparison (I.E. react's shouldComponentUpdate), I don't find the small performance hit of cloning to make a difference.
