Honestly I'd get wired controllers or a wireless 360 adapter(doesn't use bluetooth). I've been through 5 different bt adapters on my raspberry pi and they all start crapping out after 3-4 controllers, bt just isn't fast

Yea I meant that it "could" be easily played on RBP not that it's possible at this moment.

Holy shit 2 million dollars for a video game that could easily be played on a $35 dollar raspberry pi 20 years later. I hear it all the time but it really is amazing how fast technology advances.

A linked list is an actual data structure, whereas JSON is just a format for storing data. The computer actually has to lay the json out in memory somehow. JSONs have keys that are strings so a hashmap or hashtable is probably more likely.

MS Office is a big one, Excel is pretty much un-rivalved when it comes to the spreadsheet game. Open/Libre Office are nice but not as good as MS Office, plus everyone already knows how to use it so businesses don't have to spend m

OS X has good package managers but they aren't as intwined with the os as aptitude or yum, for better or worse. Homebrew and Macports are the most popular package managers.

Yea but the point is readability not performance. If I have 50 functions that are only called once it will be hard for someone who hasn't read the code to immediately realize that which will make it more difficult to modify these funct

Literally everything Amazon sells, other than stuff they make themselves like the Kindle, can be bought somewhere else.

Most of the employees in their warehouses are actually contractors and not employed by Amazon, IIRC it's like 90% contractors in the warehouses.

First off you don't actually have any evidence that it's greyed out to stop web scrapers, and secondly it doesn't really work against anything but the bare minimum worst scrapers because you can easily just change the url ins

Really depends on location, 100k/yr in the midwest would be insanely high for a junior developer but in SF it wouldn't be unreasonable.

Meteor isn't even version 1.0 yet, I would hope they would do breaking changes and standardize their api before their first major release.

Sorry to go offtopic but since the you mentioned emscripten I though I'd ask. Can you explain what emscripten is used for? I'm fully aware of what it does, just not why someone would want to use it. How do you use things like jQue

I really don't think a cannabis addiction can be classed as the same life ruining addiction that alcohol is. Maybe because of it's legality it can ruin lives but the parent was specifically talking about after it became legalized.
