After carefully reviewing all of the other comments explaining the many technical and organizational reasons why they should not “just do that,” I have come to the conclusion that it was a big missed opportunity by intel.

The idea of building new institutions is basically right. You can’t fix Harvard. But can you really build new institutions without a new civilization? The point of Harvard is the golden ticket to the upper class. The upper class now sucks (

Rights don't exist. They're an idea made up by man. You have a right to what you can defend. In the long run, legalism will align itself with that iron law of nature. I would protect the elephants because I like them. No use bring

Meanwhile, Wall Street and normies call Satya Nadella a genius and will be shocked in 5 to 10 years when their tabloid news operation/tech company starts looking more like IBM.

Prisma obviously isn't as fast as the .NET ORM or raw SQL, but the MIT undergrad can throw together an app without too much worry about joins or database stuff in general. If you have a type setup for Django and Python, I am all ears.

It raises the question of whether the current networking stack is the one we want to have for the next 100 years. The internet in its current form has ruined a lot of the dream of personal computing because companies (and the state) are so

This phrase "systemic overpolicing" and ShotSpotter both come from the same mind - the mind of the state. The state - which like most organizations is concerned mostly with preserving itself - has an interest in the surveillance o

Google, at the moment, is a tech company whose products are actively engaged in the falsification of history for political purposes. I honestly have no idea where they are going with this but I don't want to be part of it.
