FWIW I just gave up and bought youtube premium and I never see ads ever again on my chromecast. Unfortunately because the domain ads are served off of is a youtube domain something like a pihole (which I am also running) doesn't help.

FWIW I bought a new Framework laptop and it's worked perfectly with Ubuntu since day 1 YMMV - a major advantage of Framework over other brands is down the road if a component breaks I have a higher probability of being able to replace

right but I have no control over one aspect (spam calls existing) but I do have control over the other aspect (interruption to my personal workflow due to spam calls) - not everything has to be perfect in all aspects - always expecting so m

FWIW you can also try scaling the display - ChromeOS does this well out of the box, Linux is OK, Windows has it too. Best of both worlds IMHO.

Yes - jeep wranglers are hosable and they will rust in this same way - if you don't completely remove the carpets and really let everything dry out you will get rust.
