There are plenty of countries that are seeing inflation and didn't get any stimulus money. The official explanation blaming the war also happens to be the better fit temporally (you'd have to explain a two-year lag) and sectorally

The jump in 2020 is explained by a footnote saying that the definition was broadened in May of that year. Other than that, the rate is unprecedented in absolute terms only in the way that any chart of exponentional growth will always be.

Gmail also ignores the dot. If you choose a 17-character mailbox name, you can use any one of 2^16 different patterns of placing dots between them. Capitalisation could also be used for such a purpose, but may be more likeely to accidentall

Aehm, no! Afghanistan was a reaction to 9/11, since the ruling Taliban had been accomodating and supporting Al Quaeda. The first (or second, depending on how you're counting) Gulf War started with Saddam Hussein's invasion of

I was waiting for the paragraph "revealing" that it's George Soros or the Rothschilds pulling all the strings... The topic is ripe with (sometimes actively harmful) conspiracy theories already, it's neither funny nor enl

I vehemently disagree with the (second) invasion of Iraq, but pretending it's the same to step in when some dictator has torture as a favorite hobby as it is to invade a peaceful and happy democracy is taking the cynicism a bit too far

Money doesn't create natural gas. If you shut down a pipeline bringing in some amount <x>, and you cannot find a new source to get that amount, somthing has to give, somewhere, you have to use less of the stuff.

The problems havve absolutely nothing to do with technology in the streaming-video sense of the word. It's about trust, versioning, truth, reality, and similar concepts. Maybe Linux development is a good example, with some centralisati

A "silent war" is to a war as a silent rock opera is to Bohemian Rapsody: something entirely different, even if you try to change the definition of words. War crimes need a war, and crimes. Albright didn't commit any crimes,

Didn't watch the video because video explainers are a waste of time unless you're illiterate. But from the description, the title should be "this guy can't upgrade the SSD".

A trained model is a set of rules to go from, for example, an image to a tag identifying the object it shows. That's an algorithm. It is not "statistical regression", even if that is the method that was used in its creation.
