I mean, I hate to say it, but yes? "Being Cool" at its core is mass imitation of good design. Think of the in-crowd in high school, they looked great, but one wouldn't come close to calling them unique.

In my honest opinion Yahoo! acquired Summly for their launch video: https://vimeo.com/52014691 It's simply so cool. Yahoo! is nowhere near that cool. The experiment now is if buying cool makes you cool.

You have to remember that while liberal, NYC is at its core a business focused city that has a long history (for US standards at least) in business. With that in mind "internships" i.e. unpaid labor for the inexperienced is almost expected

Coming from a designer that has worked a lot on magazine/newspaper design this is absolutely helpful. I don't know how many times I've seen Lorem Ipsum be glanced over and almost make it into the final print. This is great!

Without a point system the one thing I've found is that the multiplayer makes it a disadvantage to play the normal game. The bigger you are the harder it is, you win when the other player crashes. Just a thought.

Is this not unlike one yelling at a toy maker for not using his clever engineering to create "more useful" products? I'm sure the toy maker would tell you that making a child smile is as useful and satisfying as a product can be.
