My experience is that if you can cheat the tests in this way then they are either too narrow in scope, or badly written tests. This is something that TDD tries to expose when being adhered to strictly, that is, do the simplest thing to make

You are correct of course but in my experience with Docker so far, it's much easier to get into this mindset, the more ephemeral your "disposable unit" is insomuch as VMs tend to stick around longer than Docker containers and

These exist in the UK on some motorways as well. However, my observation is that the new maximum speed is always indicated miles and miles before an incident so drivers ignore them anyway until they reach the jam.
