I feel the same way but I also think we're a minority. For me, I want to connect in meaningful ways with people. I dislike bar buddies, or casual hangouts with people I know casually. I also feel if you lack any sense of purpose, or a mate,

Great move. It's time to grow up, ignore the people who complain (let them move on, they won't click on ads anyway), and make some profit.

Agreed. Just look at the Techcrunch Deadpool and you'll see many examples of companies that have "Featured in Techcrunch, NY Times, etc" in their homepage, yet managed to fail. Winning a popularity contest isn't what it's all about. Boosts

I spent the first month struggling with memory management, and kept being paranoid about "autorelease". Now, I ONLY use autorelease (well in 99% of cases). I don't get why so many people say be careful about autorelease. It makes things so

Theory: The first pivot to LevelUp was planned partially to change the name to something more memorable. They thought they might as well pivot to something else more profitable while they were at it. The second pivot is just desperation.

Good advice that I need to heed. But what about if first-to-market is the difference between success and failure? What if you really really need to put in 60 hour weeks for the next 1/2 year or else your startup is going to die?

No, I do understand. It's a fake engagement experience - I know they're trying to sell me something. It's like a car salesman who invites you to dinner so he can secretly establish rapport and sell you a car afterwards. As for playing Monop

I don't like this at all. And I wouldn't consider this fun. Where exactly is the game in this? You're just answering poll questions.

I've actually tried that. It's not sustainable for me, personally to have that attitude. There's just way way too many people in this world. I just don't care about 99% of the people in this world.

Yes, true, but you still belong to 1 tribe. Nowadays we're lucky to have anyone besides family, or a S.O. who we consider a tribe. It doesn't help we spread the bulk of our days along people we don't care about too.
