If you're interested in reading a fantastic book on what the Buddha was really trying to get at, check out Seeing That Frees by Rob Burbea. He has a deep intellectual and experiential understanding of the Suttas.

Simply put, earning a living. I didn't travel the conventional path of high school > university > job, and so I'm struggling to get my shit together, the concept of earning a living (outside of making minimum wage) is so for

Responding to your first part, If that were the case then the entire advertisement industry would be rendered moot. I do agree with you that certain individuals are "immune" to these sorts of viruses.

I read this the other week before the site got taken down and I found it to be incredibly prophetic. I especially enjoyed this part: "The point is – imagine a country full of bioweapon labs, where people toil day and night to invent ne

Glad you shared this experience as mine is very similar. I made an account successfully, I only used my account to follow artists I enjoyed, hours later I received an email notifying me that my account was deactivated and to reactivate it I

I'm going to second the leangains method just for introducing me to the thermogenic effect of food. What I got out of that book was to increase the thermogenic effect of food as much as you can, while doing intermittent fasting to cont

The greatest embodiment of this essay I've come across recently is a Korean artist named Kim Jung Gi, known for his ability to conjur up epic scenes with a brush pen. As well as his obsession with drawing. https://youtu.be&#

This somewhat related but Instagram has started doing some shady shit, for starters if you browse without an account they now cover the page with a sign up splash. The one that really grinds my gears is that I made an Instagram to follow so

The one that stands out to me the most because it's so quirky is Surely You're Joking Mr. Feynman. And in second place I'd have to suggest Born Standing Up by Steve Martin.

Yeah, this happens to me as well, I'll want to scroll when I have 5 minutes here or there and I'll run into the same problems. The reddit I knew and loved is gone, and it's filled with usability issues and politics all over.

I just read that the designer of the stinger was previously designing for Audi, I can see a pretty similar resemblance to the a7 in the rear.

I remember when Kia and Hyundai were known as cheap Korean cars, whoever is in charge of branding has really done a great job turning things around. I especially love the look of the 2019 genesis and the Kia stinger is quite interesting, it

Completely agree with you there, both the i8 and the i3 in my opinion look like electric vehicles you'd read about in a sci-fi novel, but neither are cool or sexy.

Your explanations remind me a lot of Josh Waitzkin, check out his book The Art of Learning or any one of his interviews. I think you will agree with a lot of what he has to say on learning as he approaches it very similarly.
