Very cool. Should be a part of Excel tbh. LINQ is much better suited for data munging than JavaScript.

That sounds class. Have you an period monitor to compliment it? What else have you it doing? The oldest kit I own is a Toshiba MSX PC. It can run MSX-DOS but wrong architecture for Wolf3d unfortunately.

Modern users expect everything to integrate with Google Calendar, unfortunately. You can't avoid them when it comes to developing scheduling applications.

I do wonder if this is a consequence of the "My day at Linkedin" TikTok videos that were circulating. Looks like they'll have to manage life without the wine on tap and the morning pedicures before attending 1/2 hour of

Part of my job is developing and testing a Google calendar sync tool. I've created a secondary throwaway email address so I don't fill my own calendar with test data. During testing I often have to link/unlink the calendar wi

Very neat code and somewhat legible for a non-Pascal speaker. Curiously, it doesn't credit authors in the headers as I've seen in sources from the same period. I also wonder how much of the core OS code made it into Macintosh Syst

Intel just decided the decoder unit actually needed to be a full embedded OS and system. As for the net stack, sometimes the decoder gets confused with esoteric x86 instructions and needs to contact the internet for help. All logically expl

It's impressive that anything that built the correct DLL could be leveraged by it. But I assume ISAPI didn't have anything like CPAN or pip. It seems likely you'd have to write everything yourself - perhaps worthwhile if you

Recently I built a CGI script using Perl for my own pleasure. It was quite easy indeed, just a case of importing Template Toolkit, GD and CGI.pm then printing the result to stdout. Since I'm only using CGI.pm to send the HTTP header it

I recall eBay used to have ISAPI.dll in most of its request URLs. It bewildered my younger self who thought DLLs were only for a Windows machine, not a web server.

It is excellent to see a modern browser on Haiku, but one thing remains: If we get a web browser with advert blocking, it will be ready for the modern web.

I think you've read me wrongly. All that I described above are problems in the GTK3 file picker that aren't problems in the Windows 98 file picker. See the linked web page for a screenshot of the W98 picker for a visual aid.
