Most of what is described there just reads like modern cost of living crunch rather than a challenge specific to middle class. Lower/middle class isn't exactly having a good time with housing either

The worst part is the sharp changes in the price being traded aren't achieved by magic but rather with guns & actual human suffering

Never really bought that there was a clean distinction. To me it’s a spectrum with varying levels of structure provided, review etc. Basically oneshot vibes on one side, fully hand coded on other.

What does the integration look like on accounting? Is this a tool provided by the accounting software provider? I'm in that space so naturally interested in what people are up to :)

Isn't it possible to somehow wire this into the window manager? Wayland or whatever. Have it speak the native window lang rather than crunch the pixels? At least for the majority. I can see the appeal in pixel route given universality

Normally when LM Studio doesn't like it it's because of the presence of mmproj files in the folder. Sometimes removing them helps it show up. They're somehow connected to vision & block speculative decode...don't ask

For those in the finance space, are you actually seeing any real AI tools being used? Like for actual operational tasks? I've really only seen it used for research / exploration thus far. Either for economic research slide deck or

Yeah definitely feeling it. There are still some nice corners left though. Fair bit of quality yt channels, some corners of reddit, hn, some niche forums. Reddit is coming to the end of it's shelf life though. AI creeping in, people pe

I really like developing against compose because it's light but gives you that escape hatch of translating to k8s if later circumstances call for it. Very few separate ecosystem transfers are quite that frictionless.

This has been on my mind lately too with the talk of the new CPUs. Zen 7 sounds like it'll be a beast & coding against 1 out of dozens of cores would be a pity

Regardless of whether this is true I do think there is a risk of overdoing it. My dad firmly believes in the "when people quit work they decline" theory. Which may be fair, but he's not in great health and still charging hard

It's basically a k8s operating system of sorts. One that basically boots up as a k8s node and that's all it does. You can't log in to it or interact with it other than as a k8s node. That reduces complexity, attack surface an

Having it would be useful but I'd say long before you get there one should think about structuring the data in a more meaningful sense. Breaking tasks out into subagents etc.

Comes down to what you mean by interactive usage. Most of chat & say openclaw usage is already within self-host range so no need to spend 200 a month on that. High end SOTA coding is harder, but even there I suspect a mix of usage based
