I assume that if Microsoft hadn't abandoned WinForms for the next thing, it would support dynamic sizing and DPI properly. It's mindboggling how much time and effort they've wasted coming up with new GUI frameworks instead of

What's the relationship between Delphi and Lazarus?

> Programming will continue to exist as a hobby, not as a profession. How is that a good thing? Sounds insanely dystopian to me. Especially considering all the other jobs that will be affected too.

In what way is being woke a bad thing and how does the MoD being woke a threat to national security?

I've worked with both Java and Python extensively. Python's type system is far more exhausting, tbh. You have to think about types in both languages, but at least in Java, the compiler and static analysis can tell you if there are

I often get the impulse to call people stupid fucking morons on this site, because despite how intelligent people supposedly are, they really are complete fucking morons. It will, however, get you flagged and banned.

Classic represents a different design philosophy. One that still appeals today. It has nothing to do with nostalgia. Or games like Project Gorgon wouldn't be so appealing to people.

Explain. Classic is nigh identical to the old version in all the ways that matter, primarily gameplay, with fairly minor improvements. Drastically? What are you talking about?

This is such an odd line of argument. They continue to put a lot of resources into classic. Clearly it's paying off for them and there is a large enough demographic that it's financially sensible to do so. They don't run a ch

Does it matter if classic doesn't have as many or more players than retail? Nobody said it would. Just that some players would prefer to play classic and that has certainly held up.

Accounting for inflation, that's $542. And considering how much everything, including phones, costs nowadays, $600 seems like a steal to me too. I was expecting a much higher price for what I'm seeing on that page.

Okay, and where's the army? I'm not sure what you're expecting without boots to put on the ground. Are the pilots gonna be ejecting to go hunt Khamenei? This argument is meaningless. Again, none of this can lead to WW3 and n

Don't litter, don't do drugs, don't chew gum, don't drink in public after 10:30pm, and only smoke in designated areas. It really isn't that difficult.

Okay, so what official sources do you base your definition of price dumping on? Nobody is asking for your opinion on what you think price dumping is. This is a legally recognised thing, not just some random talking point.

I thought the same but when I googled, the results disagreed with this point of view. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dumping_(pricing_policy) All the laws listed there define dumping as something being sold below the &q

I don't see any tweets about how the protesters are working for the US. Like, Trump would literally say how involved they are right now, and he isn't doing it. He's a child who's incapable of being subtle or not talking

The only way to believe this is if you're a Westerner being fed a purely US-centric media diet. Otherwise you'd know all the ways that the Iranian government has been failing their people recently and for a long time now, and how

Anecdotal data isn't sufficient to infer a universal rule. The point of my comment wasn't to argue for drugs. It was to push back against the idea that drugs like anti-depressants are unnecessary and bad, which I see all the time

I also question the universality of it. No amount of exercise changed my depression or made life any less miserable. Anti-depressants finally helped me get past the trauma I was unable to properly process otherwise.

This is cool but it needs to be bingeable to really make it big. I don't think this works as a Wordle once a day kind of thing. I was going to send it to a non-tech friend who'd love it, but decided against it once I saw the 23 ho

I've also seen this happen with laptops. They'll have a decent Samsung NVMe SSD when reviewers get their hands on the devices, but then after release, they switch it out for a cheaper one that performs much worse, particularly in
