I think the poster was getting at the fact that pot users dwarf meth users in quantity, for example. I think the OP got it right -- even if there was no heroin crisis in the US, the cartels would turn to some other money-making proposition.

A second vote for Netlify, it's incredibly easy to use. I'm not monitoring uptime, but have had zero issues so far. I use it with Hugo, a static site generator. I believe Netlify has an easy SSL setup option, but it has been a whi

Ah, my bad. I figured the /prep/ guide and the /gcnc/ guide were distinct, but I see how you could take it a different way.

Off topic, but the same guy (Michal Zalewski) has an absolutely amazing guide to his CNC work. http://lcamtuf.coredump.cx/gcnc/ For something a bit less depressing.

The ASIC developer (mainly Bitmain) is in a huge position of power here. Bitmain seems to be the only serious game in town, and spooling up a chip run isn't quick, even for someone like Intel, AMD, or the dozens of other chip makers (T

There is a video of it at a trade show on YouTube. The craft definitely exists, whether or not it flies is a different question. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ll-3jDTibSQ

No. In basically no other industry does "performance" double every two years. Agricultural output doesn't double every two years, drugs aren't twice as effective every two years, and cars aren't twice as fast every

Mexico has no cancer within, it is the cancer. The central government is inept and corrupt, leading to the drastic measures you see here. A revolution on the part of the Mexican people is needed, but the US will never allow such volatilit

Is this even remotely surprising to anybody? All these ICOs are pump and dump schemes at best. This guy just seems to have ditched the formalities and simply stolen the money.

The tricky part with hydrogen is the containment. You either need cryogenically cooled tanks to get it to a liquid state, or metal hydrides to store it chemically. Both have fairly poor energy density (by volume and mass). What's more,

I can't imagine the liability involved for the vendors selling this stuff. That being said, a UV sterilizer (available from most camping stores) will destroy most bacteria and viruses and should leave you with all the minerals and (lit

I would argue the energy was always there -- it is the mass-energy equivalence, after all. I should probably clarify my point: energy must come from somewhere; energy is not spontaneously created. Also, I don't even think anyone has br

Of course. I think bodycams are a huge step in the right direction, in terms of holding police officers accountable for their actions whilst also protecting them from false claims. Culture change is fundamentally slow, but I think process i
