Tried it on my M4 iPad Pro and was surprised that it works - to a degree. NPCs (Gman and the citizens on the train) seem to be missing eyes and have no mouth animations. FPS was pretty poor too, and it was ass to use the camera on the track

Don’t worry, you also can’t afford RAM to play it either. Not that it needs much.

$300 isn’t what AirPods cost though. You can get a pair of AirPods 4 for $129 on Apple.com, and I presume that is still the most popular model. If you’re paying ~$300, you are buying premium headphones.

So basically `ruff check --select=PL` but worse in every single way, maintained by a system that's not even available anymore? It even uses Ruff's code under the surface.

It's true for HDDs. They don't maintain a list of compatible third-party HDDs, but you use them perfectly fine. No errors, drive health monitoring works, etc. https://www.guru3d.com/story/synology-reverses-pol

They still require you to buy their overpriced (even by AI bubble standards) NVMe drives with zero third-party support. There is a project that adds third-party SSD support for newer Synology devices, but you need to redo it every time your

As a Synology owner, I would not recommend anyone to get into Synology at this point after the drive BS they pulled off. I'm planning on building myself a DIY server with Unraid instead.

I doubt there's any kind of a set of features that can be turned off to reduce the memory footprint by any significant amount when most of the memory bloat comes from the application running its own instance of Google Chrome.

I'm Finnish, so my guess is "no". Gallup polling gave a >85% in favour of abolishing DST. 52% also voted in favour of winter time.

My Mac Studio uses about 60–80 watts whenever I’m running a model (as measured by the system metrics), so it’s less than 2 kWh/day at full blast. Electricity is like 0.125 €/kWh, so that 24-hour period would be <0.25 €. Not acc

I wonder about that. At the moment, it feels like OpenAI and Anthropic are in the “racing to IPO” business. I’m also not sure who is going to be buying all of this AI output when nobody’s employed.
