I think you've misread what I said. The "Why can't people play nicely?" people would just have to accept that certain cultures cannot play nicely with each other. To address your point: there are plenty of people in hist

I've seen school kids get LLMs to do their homework assignments for them. They don't care about them not doing math well. They just use them for what they're good for. Then they use other apps to paraphrase/simplify the

If that is so, then the problem is that people refuse to see that certain cultures are incompatible with each other, and so the solution is them coming to terms with that and adjusting their worldview accordingly.

Right. Humanity is not defined by IQ or knowledge, and it's perfectly okay for people to prefer the company of some without denying the humanity of others.

I don't think innovation is all that wanted. What do you have to do to be trendy? Not use capital letters? Flatten all imagery? I'm looking forward to Comics Sans invitation letters 2.0.

I didn't really get Quake either. I don't think it really belonged anywhere; it was too strange, whereas Doom mixed the foreign and the familiar very well. I think Scanner Sombre does that too. Most games are too familiar these da

Did you feel it with Quake too? If you were to find it today, it'd probably have to be an indie game. It's a bit of a jump, but if you like exploring alone you could try Scanner Sombre.

A lot of students depend on extrinsic motivation - they want a reward for learning, or they don't want to be punished. While you may disagree with labels, there is a positive correlation between intrinsic motivation and intelligence.
