I currently pay for $20/m ChatGPT/Claude subscription. I currently put about $20-30/m into my OpenRouter account. I find this to be a pretty good split for all my side projects. A real developer wouldn't find this suffi

If you work, you inevitably have some investments occurring. But every working adult is invested in the stock market. If you are young, impact is less scary because you still have 20, 30 or 40 years for the market to go back up.

The API lets you adjust the temperature. Lower values introduce more deterministic outputs, which likely helps with the hallucination rates. If you want creative writings, use the API and play with the sliders.

I think Cloudflare not providing ZDR on their inference is the biggest public indicator that Cloudlare glows. We let all traffic get MITM'd, now we're letting our AI conversation get tracked. Cloudflare reeks like a US Honeypot.

This is only to help them filter out AI generations for their own training data. There is no way you can "block" all "ai generated content" from your view.

You can send armed men to your house, or restrict companies in America from using these models. They can also restrict US providers from serving these models. Looking at OpenRouter, there is currently 11 providers for 'DeepSeek V4 Flas

It seems like the race to the bottom slowed down with audio, video and image generation models. OpenAI has completely shifted focus, Google still is working on various toolings/models but ultimately most people are unwilling to pay for

They need to be using deep packet inspection to get reliable and useful blocks. If you cannot install their self-signed cert on your device (i.e non-managed device) then you likely aren't being MitM and thus, restrictions are hard.
