This is a (quite clever) comment on a physics theory that we know to be incomplete. Not a comment on reality. And the math does check out. There really are many solutions to this system, i.e. it is nondeterministic under the theory.

And there absolutely is a need to sensationalize. This is a big problem and requires serious political will, whether to pull off mass cloud seeding, make more sun/nuclear energy or reduce the usage of something important like air trave

It's a fairly common term in many languages. It just means "English speaking nations". It's similar to "caucasian" meaning white (who cares any more that they crossed the Caucasus? but the term sticks).

You can cover lots of strong signals with any basic (inappropriate) antenna. And if you want something cheap that tunes then get a telescope dipole, and set the length correctly (and maybe also polarization). In either case, height / c

There's a lot of interesting things in the spectrum, and the RTL-SDR costs only $50-$100. I don't see why not just buy it and then figure out what to do with it. Poor analogy.

Yeah exactly. In particular a flow of current (movement of electrons or other charged particles, measured in Amperes) is not required for energy transfer, though it is a part of the efficient way of energy transfer via conductors/wires

No. DC energy also flows around the wire. And I mean around, entirely outside of the conductor, not in the skin or anything like that. In particular it's not the electrons that carry the energy, though they can receive it from the fiel

Circuit theory is demonstrably wrong. The energy doesn't flow inside of a wire, it flows around the wire. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poynting_vector https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHIhgxav9LY

Both are always there if the circuit is running. Also, both E and M fields are required to transport any power using electricity. This is also true for DC current. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poynting_vector - th

See "new visits" in the first chart. You can reduce the window for extra clarity. Something very specific must have happened in that week, nothing that can be explained with a "grand theory of decay".

I don't think that explains it. Many Green voters experience some sort of self-hatered, they claim humanity is a disease, etc. In particular many voters do not want nuclear power at all.

Precisely the point. It's a good test of commitment when someone is asked to give up something (in this case a very small increase of the probability of causing a problem) in return for climate improvements.
