In one of the linked articles it shows one campsite who charged 5 dollars for a reservation but BAH was charging the campsite 6-8 dollars for the reservation. So they raised their prices to cover the more than 100% fee that the campsite had

Pinnacles park is like 60 dollars a night. I bet I could get a hotel nearby for cheaper. It doesn’t scale either for the season. I went to camp at a lake and recreation charged around 50 and the campsite was 20% full.

I agree. He could have just cut out the first paragraph and it would have been decent advice. Some people have health anxiety and suggesting something like this can trigger them to obsessively worry about whether this have this or not.

Oh he hit you with the, "do your own research." I also like that he posts that on this article about an 81 year old running 130kms. How many of his peers who did 30 minutes can barely walk but he's out there killing it.
