When your body has to shut down some system in order to save your life, I think it's reasonable to assume there will be some damage.

Apple has thousands of reviewers, sometimes some of them make mistakes. The best way forward is usually to just submit again, most likely you’ll have another reviewer then that sees things differently.

Exactly. If you pay more to buy an Apple product you probably won't mind paying more to change the battery. The high price is not an issue for professionals, but it does mean people are _more_ likely to repair them, not less.

I definitely don't buy a new laptop every two years, few people do, and when I do buy one, like most people, I sell or hand it down. Same with a phone, I don't think many people throw away 2 year old phones. Using a laptop intensi

I don't know if this was directed at me, but I'm not saying it isn't easier and cheaper to replace a Framework battery. My point is that almost nobody cares. You replace your battery at most once, after like 4 years. 100 doll

Apple Silicon was a very significant upgrade, my M1 Air is just insane. It's a ridiculously good computer. But if you want a tool, why do you want it to be "under your control"? I think most people are more like me, I just wa

Yeah, and with the HK situation it's only going to accelerate. Mandarin really feels like a streamlined variant of Chinese, probably the classic lingua franca affliction. The tone system is also impoverished. Hakka preserves some archa

I think the vast majority of people are like me, I'd much rather pay Apple 100-200 bucks to replace it, so that is what they optimise for. I'd rather have a slim computer than one where I can easily change the battery, so they are

It's not that it's generic, it's that it has several different, partly unrelated meanings, just like some short English roots that may coincide with some Latin, Greek or Old Norse loan. Both of the reasons for the many homoph

Presumably the project is the last step, when they are basically just checking that you are as good as you say you are. Like checking references. At that point you should already be 90% certain to be hired, not 20%.
