Instant transitions are wonderful for efficiency, and you do see that mirrored in games as well. And you hope to see it in utility-oriented software.

It's especially backwards because most extensions worked fine when they were first cut down to that list of 20. They (the proclaimed bastion of user choice and freedom) just didn't allow you to install them. Forks and self-bu

Agreed, it's pretty rare that you'll need to turn it off. The default theming color selection does a good job making sure that lightness is different, so virtually all not-completely-custom-styled apps work with all kinds of color

So as far as I can tell, wikilambda is a programming language with IDs instead of keywords, and translatable user-defined names, and that gives you code like this: { "Z1K1": "Z2", "Z2K1": "Z0

I don't know of any way to control the setting automatically (sometimes there are special-permission non-standard/undocumented intents for settings though), but as a maybe-close-enough you can turn on grayscale color correction (i

To +1 the "no objective foundation": browse music theory research a bit! There's a ton of caveats and poor-sounding fits and whatnot for literally every approach, and there's endless discussion of it. E.g. have a Min

Surprisingly, none with crabs on them. Carcinization will fix that eventually. And then Roko's Crabulisk will hunt down everyone who didn't vote for the crab flag.

Implode generally implies shrinking/collapsing, so while explode is kinda ambiguous, I think this is fairly clearly saying "bubble will pop".

[accessibility settings -> display -> reduce transparency] is the main option afaik. while you're in there, try "reduce motion" too, it's pretty nice imo.

Yea, both netbook-flavored machines I've got have been a struggle with VAAPI (and mostly giving up too). Definitely hoping for some success here, they actually do have vulkan drivers...

tbh I'd expect the opposite - inherent bias / regression to the current norm comes through quite consistently when they're used to summarize stuff, and that'll badly taint science using it.

There are plenty of ways to mitigate that "losing a lot" (like government subsidies: run X, get paid $Y per Z -> easier access for both users and providers. we already do this for a lot of research and tons of industry, it
