But why would you pay by bank transfer? Why not pay (contactless) with your phone/wearable/regular card?

It's basically a SEPA transfer as they already exist, except instant. I'm not sure how Poland would fit into this exactly as the press release specifically mentions payments in euro, not zloty. Dutch banks have supported instant p

We already have standardized voltages, they're a defining feature of each chemistry. What Makita markets as 18V batteries and DeWalt calls 20V are actually the same battery with the same voltage range. And regarding combining a 12V 1Ah

The device only has to support those voltage when it can source the matching power profile (i.e. 140W). But usually if you have to be able to generate two different voltages, it's not much more effort to make three or ten, as long as a

In this case the fault lies somewhat with Rockstar. When you decide to move from playing GTA V on console to PC for example, you still lose your online progress with no option to transfer after Rockstar shut down transfers in 2016.

The author mentions Sea of Thieves and Mindustry, but I think Factorio is worth a mention too (seemingly as usual when something game related comes up on HN). They do TDD and talk about their automatic tests in several blogs: https:/&

I would argue that any old 256/512MB first gen Pi would suffice, and those are easily found second hand. Not everything involving a Pi requires an 8GB Pi 4 model. Most things involving a Pi don't even require a Pi.

I'm curious where OP got that idea from too. Compared to full blown PCs sure the idle power draw is tiny, but it will still drain an average powerbank in a few days at most. You could fully shut down the Pi (which would require some ex
